Ryan Adams Show Still Deep in my thoughts
I still can’t stop thinking about the Ryan Adams Concert last Friday Night at The Walt Disney Hall. First off, the Walt Disney Hall is one of the most incredible places to see a show. It’s intimate and the acoustics are amazing and to be able to see Ryan Adams perform there was a dream come true.

A truly perfect night witnessing one of my idols not only entertain us through song, but also through his completely wacky and cool personality and his hysterical stories.

He performed solo on stage for over two hours with nothing more than an acoustic guitar, piano, harmonica and his songs and left the entire crowd in awe. For two hours, the crowd sat silently listening to his every word, his every melody and even sat quietly as he tuned his guitar. My admiration for him and his songwriting runs so deep. If Ryan Adams happens to come to your town, I highly suggest you check him out. Here’s a video of him performing “Come Pick Me Up.” Click the link below..

New Remix EP Available Now and Featured on iTunes
It’s not everyday when you get to wake up, release a new EP and come to find out that iTunes is featuring it on their Singer/Songwriter page as a “New and Noteworthy” release. It’s pretty surreal. Read More »

Good-bye Steve Jobs
It’s hard to imagine life before iTunes, before an iMac, before an iPhone. It’s hard to imagine not recording or writing any of my music without having my hands on a product made by Apple. Read More »

So much amazing music out there right now
So many people keep telling me how the music biz is a shambles, how the music business is dead. How artists are on their own to make their way through this crazy biz. While that may be true at times, what can’t be denied is the music itself is flourishing, the creative juices are flowing and the music is better than ever. I can’t believe how much incredible music I am hearing these days. Read More »

REM has broken up….
You all probably know by now, but this past week, we heard the sad news that REM finally broke up. Right off the bat, I’ll admit, I was never a huge REM fan in the sense that I never totally immersed myself or fully connected with their music. But one thing I admired more than anything, is how this band, this group of artists stayed together for more than 30 years, keep their fans engaged with new music, riveting shows, and put out new records that clearly show the evolution of a band that plays by their own rules.
