Recording new record is moving right along

So here I am, about four songs into my new record and I must say I feel exhilarated hearing these new songs take shape. It's a bit nerve racking starting from scratch, taking on the prospect of a new record. I've written about 15 new songs the last few months, but until I dive in the studio and hear the music back through the speakers, I'm never quite certain if the songs I've written are any good.
